Epicure Home is a small, family-run guesthouse brand in Heidelberg, Gauteng. We host guests ourselves, which is why the details tend to be right.

We started with one house on Hospitaal Street: a comfortable guesthouse with a garden, a pool and rooms kept to the standard we would want on our own travels. Word spread through Heidelberg, and much of our business is still repeat guests and referrals.

Over time it became clear that not everyone needs the same thing. Work crews and groups needed something simpler and more affordable, and long stays needed a kitchen. That is how our Meyer Street budget and contractor accommodation came about — the same hosting, matched to a different budget.
